She is a highly advanced replicant created by the Tyrell Corporation, designed to resemble a human woman and serve as a Nexus-6 model. Rachel is initially unaware of her artificial nature, believing herself to be fully human. Throughout the story, she grapples with questions of identity, humanity, and emotional authenticity.
